Bangkok is one of the most populated and visited cities in the World. High temperatures, humidity and particular odors characterize the capital of Thailand on the one hand and on the other, it becomes more and more technological and rich because of trade and tourism.
I recommend to visit them by boat along the Chao Phraya River. Be careful which boat you take, there is a big price difference. You can easily get a private boat for a quarter of what they ask you the first time. The second and cheapest, but more crowded option is to take a public boat. One trip will cost you only 0,50 €. Personally, I prefer to stay around local people, so you get in touch with their culture and that makes your trip unique.
BANGKOK TOP 5
1 Wat Arun “The Temple of Dawn” made up of colorfully decorated spires
2 Wat Po where you can admire the Giant Buddha
3 The Grand Palace, residence of the Kings of Siam
4 Chao Phraya River, flows around the city center and ends in the Gulf of Thailand
5 Floating Markets where the trade is still made on boats
Kazan Road and Patpong are famous for the nightlife and are definitely worth a visit.
Bangkok is also a great starting point for different beautiful islands as Koh Samui, Koh Pha Ngan, Ko Tao, Phi Phi Islands and Ko Lanta.
