#Ibiza is a Spanish island part of the Balearic islands Majorca, Menorca and Formentera. The Balearic Islands are located in the Mediterranean Sea and are a pleasant destination for its superb temperature, landscape, beaches and culture.

I recommend you to rent a car and visit different towns and beaches. The prices to rent a car are cheap.

You can get a car from 35 € a day and they pick you up directly at your hotel in Ibiza city. A nice tour will be to drive from Ibiza city to Santa Eularia. Santa Eularia is about 45 minutes driving and has a nice beach with great restaurants. From Santa Eularia you can drive along the coast direction of Portinatx and you will see the amazing colors of the blue sea and the mixture of red and green fields.

Portinatx is a small town with different type of beaches. There are beaches with white fine sand and darker fine stone beaches.

The northern part of Ibiza has nice cliffs with great lookouts as you can see in from the hotel La Hacienda Na Xamena.

Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera is a small picturesque town in the center of Ibiza with a nice little church and superb tapas bar. After Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera in direction of Ibiza city there is an amazing steak restaurant located directly on the road. Restaurant Can Caus is famous for its carne a la brasa and definitely worth a visit.

and especially for its nightlife. There are plenty of great clubs and discos as the Pacha, the Privilege, the Space and the Amnesia. There are big parties all nights but the biggest are the opening and closing parties. The most popular and crowded beach is Playa D’en Bossa. You can check out the best hotel rates here.

From Ibiza city, you can also make a day tour to Formentera. Formentera counts to the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. This island has amazing Caribbean Style beaches. Ferries depart from Ibiza city every day and the trip takes you about 30 minutes with Balearia Ferries and costs you approximately 50,00 € for the  round-trip.

You can visit this awesome island from end of May until beginning of October.
